Bio EDGE was started by Alex Serrano and Nolan J. Vander Haagen in 1996 when they were 14 and 16 years old respectively. Early in their lives they discovered their shared passion for music. In 1998, Edge released their first album entitled "Criticize". The album was raw mixed with undefined teenage anger. The next album, "As She Runs," introduced Carl Beatty (bass). It was a more progressive direction to the sound of the band. In 2006, Edge released their third full length album entitled "Fight", which took them back into a more alternative rock style. The album also introduced new guitarist Tommy Vanos into the mix. Their latest album, "Venus in Furs", was released in early 2009 which included both Vanos and Masum on guitar. The album is musically diverse and has given Edge an international rock sound. Edge is now back into a four piece in 2010.. As of late the band started pre-production on their next record and hope to discover bigger and broader world audience.EDGE is a multi-cultural, multi-lingual fusion of rock music. Combined all five members represent Spanish, Dutch, Cuban, Mexican, Italian, Puerto Rican and African roots. Considering their backgrounds, growing up in the United States and trying to connect with their roots, they feel that music is the best way to reach out to the world. Music speaks to all in all parts of the globe. We hope our message reaches your hearts, spirits, and minds. -EDGE
